Season Two of Tokyo Revengers is coming in January, however for now we’ve got artwork, casting bulletins, and a trailer.

The lengthily named streaming occasion “TV Anime Tokyo Revengers Halloween Special 2022!!” was on Monday. And for anyone who tuned in, there was a ton of latest info for the subsequent chapter within the Tokyo Revengers story. Key visuals, a complete trailer, and solid bulletins have been all launched, and I’m simply as excited for this season as ever.

Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown

The first season of Tokyo Revengers had the timeline slowly escalate into an enormous gang struggle and a cliffhanger. For anyone who jumped into the present with none data of the manga, the twists and turns of season one have been nearly sufficient to provide us whiplash. And we have been all left questioning why a second season hadn’t been introduced instantly.

Premiering in January on MBS, TV Tokyo, and AT-X, the subsequent chapter of Tokyo Revengers, the Christmas Showdown, will probably be again to repair the issues within the timeline and ask our questions. Presumably whereas creating different, worse, issues within the timeline and creating exponentially extra questions. I can’t wait.

The Christmas Showdown is a reference to the battle between the Tokyo Manji Gang and the tenth Generation Black Dragon, which incorporates key members of Toman, Black Dragon, and the Shiba household. It guarantees to be an intense and possibly even bloody struggle. Especially contemplating the present revolves round gangs of literal kids.

This season Manjirō “Mikey“ Sano will probably be performed by Yū Hayashi, and Ken “Draken“ Ryūgūji will probably be voiced by Masaya Fukunishi (he was beforehand voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki). New character Inui Seisyu will probably be performed by Junya Enoki (Jujutsu Kaisen), Kokonoi Hajime will probably be voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer), Hakkai Shiba will probably be voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka (My Hero Academia), Yuzuha Shiba will probably be performed by Mikako Komatsu (Jujutsu Kaisen), and Taiju Shiba will probably be voiced by Tomokazu Sugita (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure).

About Tokyo Revengers

The official abstract of Tokyo Revengers from Kodansha USA Publishing is:

“Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The only girlfriend he ever had was just killed by a villainous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an idiot. Plus, he’s a complete and total virgin … At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days!! To save Hinata, and change the life he spent running away, hopeless part-timer Takemichi must aim for the top of Kanto’s most sinister delinquent gang!!”

It’s a little bit bit sci-fi, a little bit thriller, a little bit gang and highschool delinquent drama, and a variety of reminiscing (and cringing) again to our personal center and highschool days. Tokyo Revengers is a barely completely different tackle the “what if I traveled back in time and changed a few things?” trope. And after all, every part goes spectacularly mistaken each time. To catch up for your self earlier than the Christmas showdown, you’ll be able to catch all 24 episodes on Crunchyroll. The streaming service has it dubbed or subbed.

Have you seen Tokyo Revengers? Are you enthusiastic about season two? Do you recognize what’s coming, or are you trying ahead to being shocked? Let us know within the feedback!
