Blazblue sequence creator Toshimichi Mori has left Arc System Works, following hypothesis from followers over the previous week.

In a tweet, Mori posted a press release thanking the corporate in addition to their followers for his or her assist over time, although he didn’t give any motive for his departure.

“The many experiences I’ve had over the past 20 years since joining Arc System Works are the treasures of my life”, he says.

This comes after his title was unceremoniously faraway from the Arc System Works Board of Directors earlier this week, main many followers to take a position that the producer was going to depart the corporate.

As of this writing, Arc System Works has not issued an official assertion on the matter.

While he neither confirmed nor denied the destiny of the Blazblue sequence, Mori was fast to confess that this wasn’t good optics for the way forward for the preventing recreation sequence.

“I am leaving Arc System Works. I am sorry for the anxiety this may cause to Blazblue players in particular. I am truly sorry for this”, the assertion reads.

This does put a damper on the momentum of the Blazblue series- whereas it hasn’t gotten a mainline entry because the launch of Blazblue Centralfiction in 2015, Arc System Works has been revisiting the older video games to enhance their netcode alongside Blazblue Cross Tag Battle (A crossover fighter).

On high of that, the sequence has gotten a number of cellular spin offs, together with the now-cancelled Blazblue Alternative Dark War in addition to the yet-to-be-released Blazblue Chaos Effect.
