Here’s the situation:
My opponent performs Burn the Accursed (I’m undecided if this auto hyperlinks) to kill my 3/3 Bog Wraith with 5 injury and in addition deal 2 injury to the controller; me. I even have a 1/1 Scavenger Folk in play for context. I’ve sufficient mana to solid Simulacrum, an Instant which states “All injury finished to you up to now this flip is as an alternative retroactively utilized to a goal creature you management. Further injury this flip is handled usually.” The aim can be to take the 2 injury from me and place it upon the Scavenger Folk I management. But, I’m unclear of what this card means. If I play this card in response to Burn the Accursed, the Simulacrum would go on high of the Stack and in Last in First out order this seemingly would not do something as if Simulacrum is on the highest as a result of no injury has been dealt to me but. My query then is, would I be capable of let the Stack resolve and THEN play my Simulacrum to maneuver the injury to my creature, or is Simulacrum actually solely efficient for injury dealt by creatures?
