Square Enix and Aniplex have introduced that the previously-revealedNieR: Automata anime collection will air in January 2023, titled NieR: Automata Ver1.1a.

The anime collection is being created at A-1 Pictures, with character design by Jun Nagai and music by MONACA.

Additionally, through the Aniplex Online Fest presentation, sport director Yoko Taro and anime director Ryouji Masuyama detailed how the anime collection will comprise some modifications from the NieR: Automata online game so as to swimsuit a TV format.
