Authorities in London introduced the arrest of the hacker probably chargeable for the latest hack on Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar Games. The hacker was arrested in Oxfordshire and is alleged to be 17 years previous. 

“The City of London Police arrested a 17-year-old in Oxfordshire on suspicion of hacking,” wrote City of London Police. “He stays in police custody.” 

The hacker, identified solely as Teapotuberhacker, breached Rockstar’s safety and launched in-development footage of Grand Theft Auto VIThat footage shortly circulated across the web, and Rockstar and father or mother firm Take-Two have since scrubbed that footage from the web. 

Teapotuberhacker can be reportedly behind a latest hack on Uber, and the rideshare firm stated it will be working with the FBI and US Department of Justice to search out whoever was accountable. The hacker can be stated to be a member of the group often known as  “Lapsus$.” 

“We lately suffered a community intrusion during which an unauthorized third occasion illegally accessed and downloaded confidential data from our programs, together with early improvement footage for the subsequent Grand Theft Auto,” wrote Rockstar on the time. 

Following the hack, Rockstar affirmed that this would not have an effect on the event of Grand Theft Auto VI.
