If you obtain a warning, please take it significantly and both transfer on to a different subject or steer the dialogue again to its authentic RPG-related theme.

It’s pointless attempting to speak to them in a venue which participates in brainwashing like Facebook, and Twitter. Remove Facebook and Twitter from the equation and this calculation begins to vary.

Agreed. Across the board, one of the best counter to bigotry and prejudice has at all times been private, face-to-face data of people that belong to the group one’s been prejudiced in opposition to.

The actual hazard of social media platforms is that they facilitate and encourage individuals creating filtered areas which, even when they permit interplay with out-group members, are usually structured in order that interplay reinforces somewhat than undermines these judgements. The downside with the fabled “protected area” is that any organism who stays in a single too lengthy turns into unable to outlive outdoors it, like orchids in a greenhouse.

Today I discovered that rpg.web autobans posts associated to ACKS!

I caught a permaban over there from recommending the ACKS wargame complement, and having an alleged alt-right (ooo!) speaking level in my sig.

Still, I’m extra impressed by the truth that rpg.web has auto-banned ACKS posts for years. According to their mod textual content, ACKS has been a banned subject “for years now”!

I simply learn by way of their guidelines and tips and fairly frankly I’m shocked and appalled.
I can not consider how one sided they’ve turn out to be. They’ve absolutely embraced the SJW BS of the left.
You can not in any method have an apposing view from rpg.web and have a dialogue about it.
The moderators there’ll perma-ban anybody on the drop of a hat. Pretty pathetic.
There is zero public discourse there.
They’re shut minded.
they concern the whole lot.
They’ve turn out to be the factor they most hated and feared: the oppressor.

check out this ban (which was appealed…and REVERSED!)

With that type of logic, ANYONE who sits down with a Nazi, is a Nazi.

So I assume each individual that spoke to Hitler was a Nazi.

What. The. Literal. Fuck.

EDIT: Sorry. I noticed this explicit ban was introduced up earlier on this thread. My unhealthy. But nonetheless…WTF?

A 7 day ban reversed 6 days into the ban, and no clarification for why the ban was reversed. The TBP mods need the inmates to not absolutely perceive what the foundations are. It’s a type of terror to maintain individuals afraid, and to maintain individuals inside the cult-minded groupthink.

Honestly, I needed to take a break from it. As wmarshal accurately notes, the foundations are by no means distinct and at all times in flux, in order to maintain everybody guessing.
