Torchlight Infinite, the newest installment within the multiplayer ARPG franchise, has simply launched into open beta early entry (presumably a prelude to open beta?) on PC and cell units with cross-play assist.
“Torchlight Infinite is a loot-based ARPG with lots of great loot to be found in the game,” developer XD Games stated. “By choosing different traits, skills, talents, and gear, Hunters can create builds with different fighting styles and challenge powerful bosses to obtain a variety of loot. In addition to enhancing Hunters’ combat ability, loot can also be traded with other Hunters for resources.”
The open beta early entry model options six playable heroes, over 250 abilities to select from, and three expansive chapters to finish. The recreation is ready 200 years after the occasions in Torchlight 2 and fully bypasses the Torchlight 3 timeline.
“Based on lore from the original Torchlight, players can experience a new story in an apocalyptic era where danger lurks around every corner,” XD beforehand famous. “A team of Torchlight heroes are on a mission to prevent an invasion of darkness and protect innocents who have been forced from their homes.”
