There’s a brand new hatch of Skinks guarding the ruins in Gnarlwood and by the point you see the Chameleon Skinks it may be too late.
The warbands heading into the Gnarlwood are after the expertise of a crashed Seraphon void-ship. However, the ruins aren’t precisely empty. There are some defenders which can be among the many ruins and so they aren’t to be taken calmly.

These Skinks are “shadow-touched” and are fairly sneaky. They typically struggle in completely coordinated packs who pepper their targets with poisons. Spotting them means you’re about to be shot by these blow darts.
“Concealed by natural camouflage, these stranded hunters pincushion their foes with hallucinogenic poison darts from the cover of tree and vine. Poor souls under the influence of these drugged darts often end up giddily capering into the rending limbs of Gnarloaks, or taking fatal plunges into greedy swamps that can gulp down a Fomoroid Crusher without a trace.”
That is definitely one solution to go within the Gnarlwood. Skinks aren’t sometimes identified for his or her shut fight prowess. However, if they’ll dart you up with medication, they’ll simply let the jungle take it from there. I’m anticipating to see quite a lot of of those Skinks accessible in a single warband, too.
