Games Workshop has dropped a brand new Roadmap for Warhammer Underworlds and now we all know what the long run holds for the sport.

Warhammer Underworlds: Gnarlwood is coming to pre-order this weekend and with that timing in thoughts Game Workshop has determined to drop a Roadmap for the sport as effectively.

through Warhammer Community

“Warhammer Underworlds is heading to the twisting caverns below the Gnarlwood for a new season and a new core set. A new season means fresh rules, more warbands, more Rivals decks, and much else besides as the conflict comes to Ghur.”

To kick issues off, we all know this month sees the discharge of Gnarlwood and the 2 Rivals decks. That’s not an enormous shock. However, past that, we’re going to see two new Warbands (one in December and one in February) together with Rivals Decks after which a brand new season after that.

But now we get into the enjoyable half — what can we glean about these new Warbands?

The one coming in December might be the simplest to determine. Those twin moons are very harking back to the Gloomspite Gitz and their Bad Moon worshiping tendencies.

It received’t be the primary Gloomspite Warband (if it seems to be one). But it is going to be attention-grabbing to see which path GW takes this new crew of Gitz.

The second warband is a little more of a problem.

I believe this one appears to be like like both a Death or extra possible Chaos warband. It’s arduous to inform if that’s a cranium with horns or a masks — I’m leaning in the direction of masks. The query is what subfaction although? My first guess is a Be’lakor subfaction of Chaos, so a “First Prince” warband.

Come to think about it, I don’t know if we’ve seen a “daemon” warband but in Warhammer Underworlds. The closest we’ve had was most likely the Eyes of the Nine which had a few Tzeentch Horrors. We additionally had Magore’s Fiends which had a Flesh Hound of Khorne. Oh and the Dread Pageant additionally had a Slaangor.

But once more, we haven’t had an “all daemon” warband. So that may be form of neat. But hey, it’s a brand new Warband — what do you suppose it might be?

Warhammer Underworlds has extra goodies coming it’s a recreation that continues to develop and develop!
