Publisher Paradox Interactive introduced a brand new publishing initiative dubbed “Paradox Arc,” and its first launch is Across the Obelisk from developer Dreamsite Games.
Based in Sweden, Paradox self-publishes each its personal titles, and video games from third-party studios as such Obsidian Entertainment and Romero Games. The new publishing line is meant to focus on video games from smaller growth groups.
Paradox Arc head Sebastian Forsström mentioned the general aim with the initiative is to “shock gamers with video games they may not have recognized they wanted to play. We’re publishing the sort of video games that abruptly seem atop your ‘Most Played’ checklist […] I’m wanting ahead to sharing extra Paradox Arc titles with everybody quickly – and to inviting extra builders to work with us.”
Across the Obelisk is an RPG that includes roguelike components into its card constructing system that may be performed alone or cooperatively. Originally launched on Early Access in April 2021, Obelisk is the primary of three video games listed on the Paradox Arc web site.
